    The joint EASL-EASD-EASO guidance recommends resmetirom or semaglutide for adults with non-cirrhotic MASH and fibrosis stages 2-3, alongside lifestyle intervention and optimized comorbidity management. It addresses treatment selection, initiation, monitoring, and discontinuation, and advises against using these agents as MASH-targeted therapy in adults with MASH cirrhosis until further data are available.

    American Society of Hematology 2026 guidelines for diagnosis of iron deficiency

    The American Society of Hematology recommends serum ferritin thresholds for diagnosing iron deficiency in specific populations, whether or not anemia is present, and provides guidance for people with inflammation. The guidelines also discuss other diagnostic thresholds and research priorities.
