Indivior ends PAM collaboration with Addex ahead of Supernus merger
Addex said Indivior returned rights to all PAM assets discovered through their collaboration.
Indivior has ended its collaboration with Addex Therapeutics to develop positive allosteric modulators, or PAMs, and returned rights to all assets discovered through the partnership, Addex said. Addex said the decision followed Indivior’s rationalization of its research and development activities and the planned merger of Indivior’s parent company with Supernus.
The partnership began in 2018, when Indivior paid Addex $5 million upfront to work on ADX71441 for addiction. Indivior later took responsibility for another compound being developed as a potential treatment for substance use disorders. Addex CEO Tim Dyer said the company can now consider new partnerships or advance the programs before partnering. Addex also has a proprietary candidate in development for chronic cough.
