Adicet reported early results for prula-cel, an off-the-shelf CAR-T therapy being tested in lupus. The treatment is made from donor cells and uses gamma delta T cells. Endpoints News reported that the therapy improved symptoms in the early-stage study.

BioPharma Dive said the efficacy data were competitive with cell therapies and antibodies, and cited peer cell therapy makers’ complete response rates of about 40%. About a quarter of prula-cel patients experienced mild or moderate CRS. Infections were reported in more than half, and around 8% had infections graded 3 or higher.
