Gias Foods is recalling all lot codes of Bettergoods Authentic Italian Lemon Alfredo Fettuccine because the product may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, according to the FDA. The frozen product was sold nationwide at Walmart in 22 oz yellow plastic packaging. Its UPC is 194346442706.

The FDA said sampling by the Washington State Department of Agriculture and Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services found that the finished products may contain the bacteria. The company has stopped distributing the product while it and the FDA investigate the cause. The FDA said Listeria can cause serious infections in young children, older or frail people, and people with weakened immune systems. Pregnant women can suffer miscarriages or stillbirths. Consumers who bought the product are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. The company lists [email protected] for questions.
