HRSA has approved 10 drugmakers and 21 drugs for its revised 340B rebate pilot, Healthcare Dive reported. The list has expanded from 14 drug approvals last year and includes medicines from new participants Astellas Pharma, GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer and Teva.

Healthcare Dive reported that hospitals worry manufacturers could deny valid rebate requests. Under HRSA’s rules, manufacturers cannot deny rebates over drug diversion or duplicate-discount concerns, but must raise those concerns with regulators.

The pilot is expected to run for at least a year. HRSA expects to release a performance evaluation by April 30, 2028, according to Healthcare Dive.
