Stewart’s Shops Corp. is recalling half-gallon cartons of Heavenly Medley and Vanilla-Chocolate-Strawberry ice cream because they may contain metal, according to a recall notice posted by the FDA. The products were sold at all Stewart’s Shops locations in NY, VT, and NH between 7/17/26 and 10/2/2026. The company said a consumer found a metal object in a half-gallon carton.

No injuries or illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the problem. Stewart’s Shops advises customers who bought either flavor not to consume it and to return it to any Stewart’s Shops location for a full refund. The recall is being made with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, according to the notice.
