Oliva LLC of Bethlehem, CT is recalling approximately 250 units of Riad’s Oliva to Go Baba Ghanouj, Spicy Baba Ghanouj, and Hummus after sesame was not declared on the ingredient label, according to an announcement posted by the FDA. Consumers with a sesame allergy or severe sensitivity could have a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they eat the products. They were distributed to gourmet shops and farm markets in Litchfield County, CT, and the Great Barrington, MA, areas.

No illnesses have been reported to date, and the company said it corrected its labeling after discovering the problem. Consumers who bought the products are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund or replacement.
