The FDA is advising consumers not to purchase or use Green Lumber Natural Fuel For Men after laboratory analysis confirmed that additional samples bought from greenlumber.com contain tadalafil, an ingredient not listed on the product label. The agency said it continues its warning about the product.

Tadalafil is the active ingredient in the FDA-approved prescription drug Cialis, used to treat erectile dysfunction, the FDA said. The undeclared ingredient may interact with nitrates in some prescription medicines, including nitroglycerin, and lower blood pressure to dangerous levels. The FDA said people with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or heart disease often take nitrates. Health care professionals and patients should report adverse events or side effects to the FDA’s MedWatch program.
