Vitality Works Inc. is recalling one lot of 365 Whole Foods Market Standardized + Full Spectrum Blend Ashwagandha Capsules, 120 count, because of potential Salmonella contamination. The lot number is 2025-26227, and the expiration date is 10/13/2028. The company said routine sampling of a single retail unit identified the potential contamination.

The product was available from November 24, 2025, through October 20, 2026, on Amazon.com and at Whole Foods Market stores in the states and the District of Columbia listed in the recall notice. Consumers should not consume the capsules and should discard them rather than return them to a store. Refunds are available at any Whole Foods Market store. Healthy people infected with Salmonella may experience fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain, according to the notice.
