Revolution reports strong early sales for pancreatic cancer drug Rasonque
Revolution said health plans covering more than 90% of patients are reimbursing claims for Rasonque, priced at $39,800 for a 30-day supply.

Revolution Medicines’ pancreatic cancer drug Rasonque is off to a strong commercial start, according to assessments reported by BioPharma Dive and STAT. Revolution reported sales for the drug for the first time, Endpoints News reported, but the available report did not give a sales figure. The company said health plans covering more than 90% of patients reimburse claims for Rasonque. Its list price is $39,800 for a 30-day supply.
RBC Capital Markets analyst Leonid Timashev forecast $426 million in sales in the fourth quarter and said about 10,000 patients could take the drug by the end of that quarter. Cowen’s Van Buren raised his forecast for the final three months of the year to $460 million. These are forecasts, not reported sales. Revolution chief global commercialization officer Anthony Mancini said only five weeks of commercialization had occurred and it was too early to judge the launch’s normal trajectory. Third-quarter revenue included patients transitioning from a now-completed early access program, BioPharma Dive reported.
