Love to Dream recalls portable baby sound machine over fire and burn risk

Love to Dream has recalled its portable Sleep Machine because its lithium-ion battery can overheat while charging with an incompatible charger, creating a risk of fire and burns. The recall, conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, covers the white machine with model number LTD-SM23 and date code 7W15TN. The machines were sold from February 2025 through September 2026. Units with any other date code are not part of the recall. The company’s notice did not say how many machines are affected or whether overheating incidents or injuries have been reported.

The report says not to put the lithium-ion battery device in household trash or recycling, and to follow local requirements for disposal.
