Teladoc Health has added two AI-powered features to its Solo virtual care platform for hospitals and health systems. The company said SoloVitals uses a patient’s device camera to capture heart and respiratory rates without contact. It is available for private preview with select customers, with wider availability expected in December.

SoloScribe is an ambient documentation tool integrated with electronic health records and is now generally available, according to MedCity News. Healthcare Dive reported that it records and transcribes in-person and virtual visits to create clinical notes. Teladoc said the features work within the existing Solo platform, which has more than 15,000 global customers, and are intended to reduce technology fragmentation for health systems.
