The FDA assigned a Class II risk level to the recall of Miyoko’s Creamery European Style Salted Plant Milk Butter. The recall was initiated by Prosperity Organic Foods, Inc., and involves 1,304 cases. The report says the butter was recalled because of yeast, mold and E. coli.

The FDA said a Class II product may cause “temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences.” The affected butter was sold in Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, New Jersey, New Hampshire and Wisconsin. The recall was initially announced Sept. 11.
