Premiums for Obamacare plans are projected to rise by an average of 13 percent in 2027, according to a KFF analysis reported by The Hill. The New York Times also reported an average 13 percent increase for millions of Americans. KFF's calculation used new administration data listing 2027 prices for the 30 states with federal marketplaces, The Hill said.

The expected rise follows a 26 percent increase in rates from 2025 to 2026, according to The Hill. About 19.2 million Americans were enrolled in Obamacare plans, based on a federal government estimate earlier this year. The 2027 enrollment period was due to open Sunday, The Hill reported.
