BioNTech cancer vaccine misses one primary endpoint in head and neck cancer trial
BioNTech’s BNT 113 did not delay tumor progression in an early data check, and the reports give no survival result.

BioPharma Dive identified the candidate as BNT 113 and reported that BioNTech is still hoping the treatment could eventually extend survival. The reports did not provide a survival result or further trial details.
BioPharma Dive also reported that Leerink Partners analyst Daina Graybosch considered evidence supporting BNT 113’s activity sparse when the Phase 3 study launched.
